When a prominent quilt designer donated one of her creations to Buen Pastor, Sharon and I thought we would offer a raffle to all our friends. You could win this magnificent quilt at our 1st Anniversary Quilt Raffle drawing on June 28th, 2009. Our goal is to raise $500 for Buen Pastor. At $5 a ticket, that’s just 100 takers. Totally doable!
Here’s some information about the quilt:
Buena Suerte on a queen sized bed.
- Size: 52″ x 56″
- Name: Buena Suerte or “Good Luck”
- Made by: Patricia Donahue. Ms. Donahue is a member of the local San Miguel Quilters Group. Pat has won many acclaims and awards for her quilt making. Recently one of her quilts was chosen to represent Latin America in a quilt competition in Paris!
And here’s some information about the raffle:
- When: Sunday, June 28th, with the possibility of an extension if we haven’t reached our goal of $500.
- Cost: $5 a ticket.
- How: Via PayPal. I’ll enter each participant and the number of raffles they have purchased in our drawing.
